Member Artists
We are an artist's cooperative of member artists and guest artists. Founded 38 years ago in 1987, we are the longest running artist's cooperative in the state of Hawaii. Each member artist is a full time resident in the Kona District on the Big Island of Hawaii. Each member is also a working artist with his or her own business license. The cooperative allows us to network and to share our collective works of art in our Gallery which is located in the Kona Marketplace on Ali'i Drive in downtown Kailua Kona. Member artists share staffing hours and other duties needed to run the Gallery.
Guest Artists
Guest artists contribute art, but do not participate in Gallery operations. Our residency qualifications for guest artists are a little more flexible than they are for member artists, but all of the art and artists have unarguable Big Island origins.
