Jennifer Azzarone has lived in Kona for 25 years. She was born in Los Angeles California and visited Hawaii in 1994. She went back to L.A. briefly in order to pack it up and move to Kona permanently. She never regretted this decision.

As a young person she was always involved in the arts and eventually attended California Institute of the Arts where she earned a BA with a Graphic Design concentration.

After college she worked at Gemini G.E.L. as a fine arts printmaker. In that time she worked along side modern artist such as David Hockney, John Baldessari, Elizabeth Murry and Robert Rauschenberg. When she got to Kona she was lucky enough to find employment with Dinmore & Cisco Architects. This is where she gained the skill and understanding of sites, space and proportion. She has always been attracted to bold subjects, color and text. The boldness of the nature in Hawaii is what has captivated her for years and inspires her work.
